We are seeking a motivated AI Product Management Intern to join an innovative Australian technology company working on an emerging AI-enabled digital platform.

This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in AI, product management, digital products and technology commercialisation who wants to gain practical Australian industry experience.
You will work closely with experienced IT professionals and receive guidance while contributing to a real technology product.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in reviewing the current implementation of AI within an existing technology platform
- Support the development of the platform into a market-ready product
- Research user needs, market opportunities and potential use cases
- Assist with product features, requirements and priorities
- Support product roadmap and product improvement activities
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders throughout the product development process
- Research emerging AI technologies and potential applications
- Contribute ideas to improve the product's usability and commercial potential

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:

- Is studying or has recently completed a qualification in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Product Management, Business, Digital Technology, AI, Software Development or a related field




- Has a genuine interest in AI and technology products
- Understands basic product development concepts or is eager to learn
- Can think from both a business and user perspective
- Has strong research, communication and problem-solving skills
- Is proactive, curious and comfortable working in a collaborative technology environment
- Does not need extensive professional experience — this internship is designed to provide practical learning and industry exposure

Exposure to HTML, JavaScript, CSS or PHP would be beneficial but is not essential.

Internship Structure
This is a 12-week structured, unpaid internship delivered through the Self-Funded Internship Program.
The opportunity can be completed remotely, with flexibility across Monday to Friday. Candidates would generally undertake the internship 3 days per week.
