Location: Kewdale, WA
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time Casual
We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Leading Hand to support daily operations within a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment based in Kewdale.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who is confident managing competing priorities, is comfor leading teams when required and enjoys working within an operational environment.
This role will be a hybrid role, meaning it will be an even split between administrative/office duties, and work on the warehouse floor.
The successful applicant MUST hold a valid Australian forklift license and have operational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer interactions and managing outcomes
- Data entry and maintaining data flow
- Paperwork managment and attention to detail
- Working with computer systems/Microsoft Suite - primarily Outlook and Excel
- leading teams out on the warehouse floor and delegating tasks when necessary
- Daily Forklift Operations including loading and unloading heavy vehicles
- Adhering to safety procedures and protocol
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A valid Australian Forklift license, with a minimum of 2 years operational experience.
- A positive outlook, and works well with teams
- Previous experience leading teams within a warehouse or similar environment
- Solid organisational and administration skills including experience with Microsoft suite, Excel and Outlook
- The ability to interact with clients at all levels
- 3PL Environment exposure is desirable
- The ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a fast paced environment
