About the role
We are seeking a motivated Finance Operations Officer to join the team in our Milton office. It is a full time role where you will play a crucial part in supporting our Finance team. This will involve assisting the team to generate meaningful reports from excel to make operational and strategic decisions.
What you'll be doing
- Generate and populate client statements and supporting records.
- Collect and collate data from financial statements and account records for management and compliance reporting.
- Assist in preparing Excel tables and reports to summarise financial activity.
- Support various income and expense reconciliations.
- Assist in consolidating reports from Excel
- Contribute to preparing accounting and compliance reports at regular intervals.
- Provide general administrative and operational support.
- Undertake any other suitable or relevant tasks as required.
What we're looking for
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team player with good attention to detail.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong Intermediate MS Excel skills. (Pivot Tables, H/V lookups)
- Tertiary qualification is a must in a related field such as business, economics or commerce.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Any work experience in finance will be viewed favourably.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a keen interest in finance & accounting.
