This established commercial builder has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use developments across Melbourne. With a healthy pipeline of secured work, the business is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a significant new project in Collingwood.

The Project
You will oversee the delivery of a complex mixed-use development comprising basement construction, ground-floor retail and eight levels of apartments.
The project will require strong leadership across structure, services, façade, internal finishes and stakeholder coordination within a busy inner-city setting.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the project’s commercial, programming and operational performance, working closely with the Site Manager and project team.
Key responsibilities will include:

- Leading the project from construction through to completion and handover
- Managing the construction program, budget and project reporting
- Coordinating consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders
- Providing leadership and direction to the site and contract administration teams
- Managing procurement, subcontractor packages and project cash flow
- Monitoring costs, variations,



claims and contractual obligations
- Overseeing design coordination and buildability reviews
- Managing authority, client and consultant relationships
- Ensuring safety, quality and environmental standards are maintained
- Identifying project risks and implementing practical solutions

About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:

- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a commercial builder
- Experience delivering multi-level apartments or mixed-use developments
- Strong knowledge of basement, structural, services and façade packages
- Demonstrated experience managing projects from commencement to handover
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder-management skills
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering or a related discipline
- A calm, organised and solutions-focused approach
