BMS Specialty Cements is seeking reliable and motivated Permanent Production Operators to join our growing team in Toowoomba.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in maintaining safe and efficient operations. You will play a key role in supporting our production and warehouse activities while contributing to a positive team culture.
This position is suited to local candidates who live and work in the Toowoomba region.
Successful applicants will complete a 6-month probationary period before transitioning to ongoing permanent employment.
Two shifts are available (Monday to Friday):
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 1:00pm – 9:00pm
Competitive remuneration will be offered based on skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, storing and dispatching goods
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock control records
- Support loading and unloading of deliveries
- Ensure the warehouse and production areas are clean, organised and compliant
- Assist with general production, logistics coordination and yard duties
- Follow all company policies, procedures and safety requirements
- Work collaboratively within a team to meet production targets
About You
- Current Forklift Licence (required)
- Current Driver’s Licence (preferred)
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliable, punctual and motivated
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attention to detail and organisational skills
- Previous production, warehouse or manufacturing experience is advantageous, but not essential
- Must be based in the Toowoomba region and able to work one of the available shifts
