About the role In this key role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and support to our patients, working closely with our GPs to ensure the best possible health outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Immunisations and wound care
- Chronic condition management
- Health assessments
- ECGs, spirometry
- Assisting with minor procedures
- Cold chain management and infection control
- Patient education and triage
- Health promotions
What we're looking for
- A current AHPRA registration
- Full working rights in Australia
- Experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar primary care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, doctors and staff
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
- A compassionate, patient-centred approach to nursing care
- Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Up to date with immunisations
- Available to work a minimum of 24 hours per week
