About the role

Arcadia is seeking an energetic, commercially minded Pre-Construction Manager to strengthen the front end of major project delivery. This is a hands-on role for an experienced construction professional from Main-Contractor or Sub-Contractor industry who can bring practical design, methodology, programme, manufacturing, and installation expertise into major tenders exceeding $5.0m+ before projects are won or reach site. Working across Sales, Cost Planning, Design, Procurement and Operations, you'll help turn complex opportunities into smarter, more buildable and more competitive project solutions.

Key responsibilities

- Get involved early on major tenders and help shape the technical and construction strategy
- Challenge design, constructability, methodology and manufacturing to find smarter ways to deliver
- Work with Cost Planning on labour, productivity, access, craneage, logistics and installation assumptions
- Develop and challenge programmes across design, procurement, manufacture and installation
- Lead pre-construction design resources and value-management solutions
- Work with Procurement, suppliers and subcontractors to validate sourcing, capability, methodology and delivery




- Join Sales and Client Relations in front of major builders and explain how Arcadia will deliver the project
- Identify technical, compliance and delivery risks early and develop practical solutions
- Stay involved through award and handover so Operations receives a well-developed, executable project

About you

- Currently a Pre-Construction Manager, Senior Estimator/Cost Planner, Project Manager, Design Manager or Project Engineer
- Solid commercial construction experience
- Confident interrogating complex drawings and specifications
- Understand constructability, installation methodology, programming, procurement and subcontracting
- Façade, architectural aluminium, building envelope or technically complex subcontracting experience highly regarded
- Commercially minded, solutions focused, energetic and proactive
- Work well across teams and challenge conventional thinking
- Able to confidently engage with major builders
