About the Role
n
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs and contributing positively to the broader TAS Department.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in accordance with NESA curriculum requirements.
n
- Teaching and supporting other subject areas within the TAS Department, where appropriate to qualifications and experience.
n
- Supporting students to develop their creative, practical and critical thinking skills.
n
- Assessing and reporting on student learning and progress.
n
- Maintaining a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
n
- Working collaboratively with members of the TAS Department and College leadership.
n
- Contributing to faculty programs, projects, exhibitions and other College activities.
n
- Contributing to the broader life of the College.
n
- Supporting the values,
ethos and traditions of St Spyridon College.
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Relevant tertiary teaching qualifications.
n
- Current NESA accreditation.
n
- Current NSW Working with Children Check.
n
- Demonstrated experience and/or capability in teaching Design and Technology in a secondary school environment.
n
- The ability and willingness to contribute across the broader TAS Department.
n
- Experience or qualifications in additional TAS subject areas will be highly regarded.
n
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
n
- A commitment to providing engaging and high-quality learning experiences.
n
- A collaborative and professional approach to working with colleagues, students and families.
n
- A willingness to support and respect the Greek Orthodox ethos and values of the College.
n

- NESA Accreditation.

- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).

- Current National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain).

- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications (desirable).

Employment Conditions
n
This is a full-time, fixed-term position commencing Term 4, 2026.
n
Salary and employment conditions will be in accordance with the Independent Schools (Teachers) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025 and will be determined based on the successful applicant's qualifications and years of recognised teaching service.
