ABOUT THE ROLE

This is not a traditional laboratory-based position.

Working closely with production personnel, operations teams and management, you will help optimise processes,



improve product quality, troubleshoot operational issues and support safe, efficient production outcomes.

Key responsibilities include

- Supporting daily production activities.
- Monitoring process performance and identifying improvements.
- Troubleshooting technical and operational issues.
- Conducting sampling, testing and quality assurance activities.
- Supporting environmental and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluating current feedstocks and processing opportunities.
- Assisting with continuous improvement projects.
- Providing technical guidance to operational teams.

ABOUT YOU We're seeking a practical, solutions-focused professional who enjoys working in an operational environment.

You will ideally possess

- Degree qualifications in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related discipline.
- Experience in oil and gas, petrochemical processing, manufacturing, mining, resource recovery, waste treatment or similar industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of industrial processes and production environments.
- Ability to translate technical information into operational improvements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility and quality standards.
- Experience within production environments, process optimisation, quality systems or continuous improvement programs will be highly regarded.
