- Temporary Clerk Grade 7/8 role base salary ($116,981 - $129,492 per annum) based in Mascot until September 2028.

About the Role The Project Officer is part of a team responsible for delivering community infrastructure outcomes for Aboriginal communities. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with Aboriginal communities and government stakeholders across New South Wales. Key responsibilities include project management, community engagement, cross-government coordination and liaison, monitoring and reporting, and developing policy and funding initiatives. We’re Looking For

- Project Delivery: Some experience supporting project initiatives or service delivery projects, including contributing implementation and evaluation activities.

- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Ability to engage and communicate effectively with government, community and external stakeholders.

- Cultural Capability: Demonstrated awareness of and ability to communicate respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, with an understanding of issues that may impact communities.

- Strategic Thinking and Problem Solving: Ability to analyse information, identify practical solutions and contribute to advice that supports program and reform outcomes.

- Collaboration and Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively across teams,



agencies and communities.
