Role Description This part-time remote Prompt Engineer role at Asociación Española de Empleo con Apoyo (AESE) focuses on designing, testing, and optimizing prompts for AI tools used in supported employment programs and organizational operations. The role involves collaborating with program coordinators, job coaches, and other team members to understand user needs and translate them into effective prompt frameworks and workflows.

The Prompt

Engineer will document prompt libraries, create usage guidelines, and develop simple training materials to help non-technical staff use AI tools confidently and responsibly. Day-to-day tasks include iterating on prompts based on feedback, monitoring performance, ensuring data privacy and ethical use of AI, and supporting integration of AI-assisted processes into existing systems.

Qualifications

- Ability to design, structure, and refine prompts for large language models and other AI tools, with a focus on clarity, reliability, and reproducibility of outputs.
- Experience analyzing user needs, gathering requirements, and converting them into practical AI workflows that support employment, inclusion,



or social services.
- Strong written communication skills, including the capacity to explain technical concepts in accessible language and create clear documentation and guidelines.
- Comfort working with digital tools and online platforms, including basic familiarity with AI interfaces, cloud-based collaboration tools, and productivity software.
- Attention to detail, ability to test and compare different prompt approaches, and willingness to iterate based on evidence and stakeholder feedback.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, non-discrimination, and ethical use of technology, ideally with knowledge of supported employment or social impact organizations.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part time hours effectively, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team across different locations.
- Relevant education or experience in fields such as linguistics, social sciences, psychology, education, human-computer interaction, or related areas is beneficial.
