Flourishing Life Psychology & Neurotherapy Services is a small, growing psychology practice in Port Macquarie, and we are seeking multiple Registered Psychologists and/or Accredited Mental Health Social Workers (AMHSWs) to join our team as contractors.

We are looking for dynamic, compassionate clinicians who are passionate about helping people and interested in trauma-focused therapies and approaches beyond traditional talk therapy.

Experience in these modalities is highly regarded, but not essential. We are particularly interested in clinicians who are curious, motivated to learn and passionate about developing additional tools to help people recover from trauma.

For the right candidates, we are happy to discuss financial support towards training in EMDR, Brainspotting and/or Neurofeedback.

About the role

This is a flexible contractor position, approximately 2–5 days per week, with a competitive contractor arrangement offered.

You may work with clients across the lifespan, depending on your experience and areas of interest.

- Trauma and complex trauma
- Anxiety and depression
- Relationship difficulties
- Domestic and family violence
- Emotional regulation difficulties
- Childhood and developmental trauma
- Grief and adjustment
- Workers Compensation / work-related psychological injury
- Neurodivergence
- Parenting and family difficulties

Your role will include assessment, formulation, psychological intervention, treatment planning,



clinical documentation and liaison with GPs and other health professionals as required.

About you

You will ideally

- Be a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with AASW
- Have a Medicare provider number or be eligible to obtain one
- Have experience providing mental health assessment and intervention
- Ideally have experience working across the lifespan
- Have an interest in trauma-informed practice
- Be open to professional development and learning new therapeutic approaches
- Be able to work independently as a contractor
- Have strong clinical communication and documentation skills
