Role Description This entry / junior-level QA Analyst role is a contract position based in Dubai with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some flexibility to work from home. The QA Analyst will execute manual testing of software applications, follow test plans, and document detailed test cases for device management features. Daily responsibilities include identifying and reporting defects, validating fixes, performing regression and functional testing, and collaborating with developers and product teams to clarify requirements.
The role also involves maintaining test documentation, supporting quality control activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of quality assurance processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, understand system behavior, and troubleshoot issues.
- Candidates should possess Quality Assurance and Quality Control skills to ensure software reliability, compliance with requirements,
and consistent release standards.
- Candidates should possess Manual Testing and Test Cases skills to design, execute, and document effective test scenarios for web and device-related features.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira or similar) is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team workplace are required.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for strong entry-level candidates.
- Interest in IoT, embedded systems, or device management software, and willingness to learn industry-specific tools and practices, is an advantage.
