Role Description This is a part time remote role for a QA Tester / Automation Engineer. The role involves designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software solutions.

Daily activities include creating and updating test cases, performing functional and regression testing, documenting defects, and collaborating with developers and project managers to resolve issues. The QA Tester / Automation Engineer will help improve testing processes, contribute to test planning, and support continuous integration and delivery pipelines. The position requires clear communication, adherence to established quality standards, and the ability to work effectively with distributed teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Manual Testing skills, with experience validating software against requirements and user stories.
- Candidates should possess Test Execution and Test Cases skills, including designing, maintaining,



and executing test suites for different environments.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, with the ability to identify root causes, interpret test results, and propose practical solutions.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar), and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or similar) and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira) is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting are required.
- A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is advantageous.
