KYHA Studios is seeking an organised and proactive Raw Materials Coordinator to join our Melbourne team.
Reporting to the Head of Production, this role is responsible for supporting the sourcing, purchasing and coordination of raw materials, trims and production fabrics across our Melbourne workroom and offshore manufacturing partners. Working closely with our internal Development and Production teams and external suppliers, you'll help ensure materials are sourced, ordered and available on time to support product development and production.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and enjoys working across suppliers, materials and production in a fast-paced premium fashion environment.

- Support the sourcing of fabrics and trims for initial development in line with design and quality requirements
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, samples and technical information
- Coordinate the sending and tracking of fabric and trim swatches for development and production
- Raising fabric and trims PO's in Netsuite and coordination of raw materials for Melbourne workroom and offshore factories
- Ensure raw materials are available on time to support development timelines and production delivery
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, including costs, suppliers and inbound deliveries
- Manage the Workroom Raw Materials Inventory Register, ensuring stock accuracy and regular stocktakes
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with local and offshore teams
- Assist with maintaining and updating BOMs,
ensuring raw material costs are accurate and current
- Support the upkeep of raw materials master data for costing and inventory purposes
- Maintain an organised and up-to-date supplier database
- Provide day-to-day support to the Production and Development teams as required
About you...
- 2-3 years' experience as a Textiles, Production or Product development Coordinator, or similar role within an apparel business
- Previous experience working with fabrics, trims or raw materials within an apparel setting
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident working with data, inventory records and product information
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience using Netsuite or similar ERP essential
- Qualification in Textiles, Fashion or Design preferred
- Fashion or bridal experience advantageous
