About SOL Migration
SOL Migration is a leading Migration consultancy headquartered in Brisbane, Australia, in 2016. With a global presence, we have helped more than 5,000 clients each year successfully arrive, stay, and/or migrate to Australia.
We are one of the few companies that can offer a “one-stop service” for clients, covering all education and visa services. With a team of six registered migration agents based in Australia, we provide extensive expertise and experience across all visa types, including Student, Temporary Graduate, Partner, General Skilled Migration, Employer-Sponsored visas, and other visa subclasses that help clients stay longer and migrate to Australia.
SOL Migration is headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. However, we have expanded our business operation globally by establishing physical offshore offices in Bangkok (Thailand), Thimphu (Bhutan), Seoul (Korea), Auckland (New Zealand), Christchurch (New Zealand), Taipei (Taiwan) and Jakarta (Indonesia). The offshore offices allow us to enhance the SOL brand in these promising markets and to provide education and visa services directly to clients.
About the position
- Meeting with clients to discuss their visa/migration goals,
- Assessing the clients’ eligibility and providing timely visa/immigration advice to them based on individual circumstances,
- Guiding clients to prepare all the required documents and ensuring these documents are complete and accurate,
- Lodging visa applications on time,
- Liaising with the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) and stakeholders across all aspects of the visa application process,
- Representing clients to deal with all inquiries and questions from DHA and stakeholders,
- Providing ongoing support and assisting clients in navigating any challenges or issues that may arise during the visa/migration process, such as delays or changes in circumstances,
- Preparing, lodging, and following up applications and submissions to AAT or DHA for visa cancellations/refusals if required,
- Working autonomously and managing your own casework, from the beginning until the completion,
- Staying updated on visa/immigration laws, policies, and procedures, ensuring clients' applications comply with current regulations and requirements,
- Helping with marketing activities, which include but are not limited to providing our marketers and company staff with the visa/migration updates, recording videos to explain visa/migration news and issues to clients, and actively engaging in promoting marketing campaigns to boost migration sales.
About you
- Currently hold a valid MARN registration number or waiting for MARN registration approval,
- Having experience in visa/immigration consultation and applications is highly preferred,
- An ability to manage casework and deal with the day-to-day clients’ issues,
- An ability to produce high-quality work under pressure and under a deadline,
- High level of written and verbal communication skills,
- High level of organisation and time management skills,
- Solid attention to detail,
- Able to work independently and in a team,
- Proficiency in both English and a language other than English will be an advantage,
- An ability to interact and serve clients from different cultural backgrounds and with varying English skills,
- Enthusiasm for work, ambition, and a willingness to exceed minimum work requirements.
Other requirements:
- Second language required: Hindi or Nepali
