About the project The Passports IT Section is seeking experienced .NET Developer resources to work across multiple applications supporting the end-to-end passport technology ecosystem. These resources will contribute to both business-as-usual sustainment activities and the delivery of strategic enhancements and projects, ensuring continued support for critical passport and consular services used domestically and overseas

Job Details The Passports IT Section within the Business Solutions Branch of Client's Information Management and Technology Division has a requirement for up to (4x) experienced .NET Developers to support the ongoing sustainment, enhancement and delivery of passport systems and priority ICT initiatives. The roles require strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, modern cloud platforms and full-stack application development to ensure continuity of critical services and delivery outcomes.

Key duties and responsibilities

Job specific role description:

1. Client is seeking experienced full stack Vue JS/.NET Developers who can effectively manage multiple high- priority work items simultaneously.
2. The ideal candidates will have a proven record of development achievement in agile teams, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments.
3. Experience and knowledge in leading ICT technical teams may be an advantage. We are seeking enthusiastic and proactive candidates with 5+ years of experience of .NET development - preferably with some experience in an APS environment.
4. Candidates must be innovative thinkers,



thrive in an workplace of rapid change, continuous improvement and be passionate about delivering real business benefits.

Skills/Levels:

1. Development and Implementation - Systems Development - Programming / Software Development (PROG) - Level 5
2. Development and Implementation - Systems Development - Systems Design (DESN) - Level 5
3. Development and Implementation - Systems Development - Software Designer (SWDN) - Level 5

Technical skills

1. Relevant Microsoft certifications /
2. Relevant development related certifications /
3. Relevant cloud platform certifications

Essential criteria

1. Multiple years of Microsoft .NET experience doing full stack development.
2. Proven experience designing and developing in Vue JS/.NET on-premises and cloud environments.
3. Have intimate knowledge of securing apps to meet the least privilege principle (Cyber ISM) including familiarity with OWASP.
4. Demonstrated experience developing web applications with modern reactive JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, especially Vue JS.
5. Experience establishing and managing software repositories and developing CI/CD pipelines to deploy software.
6. Strong understanding of Azure DevOps processes and task governance.

Desirable criteria

1. Proven critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills and possess lead solution design skills.
2. The ability to work under pressure, deliver business outcomes and work effectively as part of a team with a focus on leading teams to provide quality services to the client.
3. Work closely as part of an agile delivery team, including the flexibility to work as a multidisciplinary team member.
4. Effective communication skills and can clearly convey technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.
