The Details:
- Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
- $103,597 pa + 12% super (level 5)
- 72.5 hour fortnight
- Hybrid, versatile working environment, including some work from home days.

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Stakeholder Engagement Officer and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
Our Project Delivery team manage complex, high impact multi-facet infrastructure projects (i.e. Roads, Intersections, Parks Sporting facilities) to meet the needs of our residents, rate payers and visitors.
As a Stakeholder Engagement Officer in the team, you’ll partner with Project Managers and multi-disciplinary teams to design and implement engagement strategies responding to project scope, community needs, risks, and opportunities.
You’ll provide collaborative, inclusive and responsive engagement approaches, and undertake research into project context, community demographics and stakeholder interests to inform engagement planning and decision making.
You’ll also:
- Participate in engagement activities across the project lifecycle from construction planning through to delivery
- Monitor the effectiveness of engagement methods and messaging
- Produce high quality engagement materials across traditional and digital channels
- Provide strategic, evidence-based advice to project managers, senior leaders, and Councillors to support informed decision making
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in the development and implementation of project delivery engagement evaluation frameworks and support continuous improvement.
Position Description Stakeholder Engagement Officer - Project Delivery
About you
We’re looking for your experience in designing, leading and managing complex community engagement strategies ideally within an infrastructure, planning or project delivery environment.
Your knowledge of project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, enables to meet competing deadlines and adapt effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing operating environment.
You’ll also bring:
- Analytical skills to interpret and communicate policy, research and technical information
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to produce high-quality content across traditional and digital channels
- Ability to build and maintain high level relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders and apply positive influence
- Experience facilitating meetings, workshops and engagement activities
- Willingness and capacity to work outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, to support engagement activities when required.
- C class Driver’s Licence required
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations or a related discipline, or relevant experience.
