Are you passionate about helping young people find stable housing and build brighter futures? At Meli, we believe in the power of human effort to create lasting change. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Tenancy Administration Worker to join our Housing Services team and play a vital role in supporting young people aged 16 to 25 through transitional housing programs across the Barwon and South West regions.About the Role
As a Tenancy Administration Worker, you will:

- Manage a portfolio of transitional housing properties, including shared, family, crisis, and Youth Foyer accommodations.
- Support young renters by ensuring tenancies are administered in line with the Residential Tenancies Act 1997 and the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities Act 2006.
- Collaborate with support workers and care teams to promote successful tenancies and positive outcomes for young people.
- Maintain accurate records, coordinate property maintenance, and contribute to program development and compliance reporting.
- Represent Meli Housing in external forums and build strong relationships with stakeholders and service providers.

Position Details

- Part time, fixed term position until 26 February 2027
- 0.8 FTE working 60.8 hours per fortnight
- $105,834 p/a (pro-rata) + Super + Salary Packaging

What We're Looking For
We value individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles. To succeed in this position, you will have:

- A Certificate IV in Business (Administration), Community Services, Youth Work or a related discipline.
- Experience in tenancy or property management, ideally within the social housing sector.
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 1997 and housing compliance frameworks.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A current Victorian Driver’s License and willingness to travel across the region.
