About the role

The Learning and Development Coordinator will work in the sector services team to oversee the delivery of the Local Government Learning and Development Framework for elected members. The role will also support the delivery of the e-learning Learning Management System to council officers.
Please note this role is offered on a Two Year Contract Full time (or part time by negotiation).

- Strong project and program delivery experience with a track record of achievement and influencing positive change in a dynamic environment

- Outstanding communication skills – written and verbal – to engage members and other stakeholders

- Understanding of the challenges for local government

We are the peak body for local government in Tasmania. Our role is to support, advocate for and represent the local government sector,



so our 29 council members are best placed to serve their communities. We are a small adaptive organisation that is driven to making a difference for Tasmania.

Annual leave is five and a half weeks (including a Christmas/New Year shutdown), as well as generous superannuation and long service leave provisions.
