Keep Moving provides excellence in assistive technology equipment solutions to hospitals, primary health care clinics, aged care facilities, disability, and rehabilitation sectors, and individuals requiring assistive technology and support.

About the role

This is a full- time Service Technician position carrying out repairs, maintenance and deliveries of mobility equipment which includes mobility (wheelchairs, scooters, showering equipment, walkers), hospital (electric beds, electric lifters, hydraulic stretchers, bed movers) and nursing home equipment (electric home care beds, alternating pressure mattresses).

Key responsibilities

- To ensure that all scheduled jobs are attended to as per the calendar maintained by the Service Manager or Workshop Administrator.

- To ensure that the spare parts stock levels are kept current and at an acceptable level.

- To carry out the job or delivery within the required timeframe.

- To liaise closely with the Workshop Administrator about the progress on jobs and deliveries.

- To always act professionally and in the client and company’s best interests.





- To keep workplaces clean and tidy and free of safety hazards.

- Any other duties as required.

About you

- Good working knowledge of all functions within a service division with an emphasis on performance.

- Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift).

- Familiar with WHS Legislation as applicable.

- Excellent communication skills (written, oral and IT).

- Ability to identify when initiative is required and act accordingly.

- Strong interpersonal skills.

- Strong organisational skills.

- Ability to perform numerous tasks in accordance with their urgency and priority.

- Maintain a current Australian Federal Police Clearance.

- Maintain a current Working With Children Check – Ochre Card.

- Maintain a current manual driver's licence.

- Maintain a current NDIS Workers Clearance.
