Flex Recruit is currently seeking experienced Painter Blasters for upcoming shutdown opportunities across the mining and resources sector.
We have a number of upcoming swings available and are looking to build a strong pool of reliable and experienced Painter Blasters for immediate and ongoing shutdown work.
If you have solid blasting and industrial painting experience, a strong commitment to safety and are looking for ongoing shutdown opportunities, we want to hear from you.

About the Role as a Painter Blaster:

- Abrasive blasting and surface preparation
- Industrial spray and brush painting
- Application of protective coating systems
- Preparing steel and equipment surfaces to required standards
- Mixing and applying coatings according to specifications
- Conducting basic quality checks on completed work
- Operating blasting and painting equipment safely
- Following site procedures and safety requirements

What We're Looking For:

- Previous experience as an Industrial Painter Blaster
- Mining, shutdown, construction or heavy industrial experience
- Experience with abrasive blasting and protective coatings
- Certificate 3 in Surface Prep/Coating preferred




- Working at Heights
- Confined Space Entry and Gast Test Atmospheres
- Basic Fire
- Construction White Card
- Ability to pass required pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Valid Australian working rights
- Valid Driver's License
