Interim Payroll Lead – 3-Month Contract, Perth

Ready to lead end-to-end payroll processing for a large organisation on a short-term basis? This role offers hands-on responsibility, impactful work, and the chance to be part of a global infrastructure business. It’s ideal for an experienced Payroll Officer seeking a fast-paced workplace with immediate start availability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take ownership of payroll processing for all employee types, including new starters, variances, leave, terminations, and payroll adjustments
- Manage superannuation, salary sacrifice, employee contributions, and deductions accurately
- Ensure compliance with Payroll and Award legislation, including taxation obligations like PAYG withholding and Payroll Tax




- Perform payroll reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve employee enquiries promptly
- Maintain comprehensive payroll records and support month-end and year-end reporting processes

Requirements:

- Proven experience with end-to-end payroll processing in weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay cycles
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and Workday systems
- Sound understanding of payroll legislation, awards, taxation, and compliance requirements
- Ability to respond to employee queries professionally and resolve issues quickly
- Immediate availability or able to start within 1-2 weeks
- Experience managing high-volume payroll environments is essential
