Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee collection, processing, and storage of patient biospecimens, ensuring quality and traceability
- Lead translational research programs focused on biomarker development and data-driven insights
- Manage, mentor, and develop biobank and research staff to meet operational targets
- Design experiments, oversee multi-omics data analysis, and translate findings into actionable insights
- Build external collaborations and secure funding to expand research capabilities
- Maintain high standards of data integrity,
quality management, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure laboratory infrastructure supports current and future strategic research goals
Requirements:
- PhD in cancer biology, immunology or related discipline
- Proven expertise in human biospecimen handling, liquid biopsy biomarker development, and multi-omics analysis
- Strong experience leading translational research projects and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior audiences
- Hands-on wet-lab experience in immunology, molecular biology, or proteomics
- Demonstrated ability to translate research into clinical impact and secure external collaborations
- Eligible immunisation status for handling human biospecimens
