This leading independent school on the Gold Coast, is seeking a Compliance and WHS Officer to become the go-to person for keeping its people, students and campuses safe and compliant.
Reporting to the Business Manager, you'll be the central point of contact for WHS and compliance across the College: risk management, policy and procedure, emergency planning, and the Child Safety and CRICOS obligations that come with running a school this size.
You'll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and staff across every campus, and act as secretary for the WHS Committee.
This is a genuinely varied role for someone who'd rather solve real problems than tick boxes. One day it's reviewing a risk assessment, the next it's coordinating an emergency drill or updating the policy register.
Full-time, permanent role commencing as soon as able in 2026.

About You
- Solid experience in WHS and compliance, ideally in education or another regulated setting
- Working knowledge of Queensland WHS legislation and Child Safety obligations
- Comfortable managing competing priorities and building relationships across a large team
- Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain) and Cert IV in WHS, or working towards one
