About the role:

Operating within Physiotherapy (Brisbane), the Associate Lecturer Physiotherapy (Work Integrated Learning) is a teaching focused Academic Level A position that supports professional practice in Physiotherapy and contributes to high quality learning experiences for ACU students undertaking professional placements. Focused on preparing, guiding and assisting students as they integrate theory with practice in diverse Allied Health service settings the Associate Lecturer will strengthen the professional practice program by providing teaching, coordination and support that enhances Physiotherapist student readiness for practice and promotes successful placement outcomes. The role works closely with professional practice and faculty staff, university stakeholders, placement agencies and students to ensure learning goals align with qualified standards and accreditation requirements. The Associate Lecturer plays a vital part in shaping emerging Physiotherapists by ensuring they receive quality, sustainable practice learning experiences through teaching, mentoring and partnership building and contributes to the development of a skilled, reflective and culturally responsive workforce.

- Total remuneration valued to $97,571 - $131,935 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $82,449 - $111,487 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level A), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
