About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring stock is managed accurately and customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched safely and on time. The role provides hands-on leadership to the warehouse team, allocates daily workloads and ensures a secure, organised and productive workplace.

Key responsibilities

- Ensure the warehouse is opened on time and ready for daily operations, including unlocking doors, turning on lights and preparing equipment.

- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch and loading/unloading of vehicles.

- Allocate staff to daily tasks and manage workloads to ensure customer orders and operational requirements are completed on time.

- Monitor workflow and identify and resolve operational delays or issues promptly.

- Assist with packing, order preparation and general warehouse duties when required.

- Communicate with inbound and outbound freight companies and dispatching supplier warehouses as required.

- Supervise, direct and support warehouse employees, including task allocation, rostering and monitoring performance.

- Conduct weekly toolbox meetings and communicate operational priorities, safety requirements and company expectations.

- Train new employees in warehouse procedures, stock control,



safety requirements and company expectations.

- Provide coaching and feedback, recognise performance issues and escalate ongoing performance or conduct concerns to management.

About you

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse supervision or management role

- Current LF & Counterbalance Forklift Licence - Mandatory

- Experience with handling Chep pallets & transfers

- Experience in logistics, distribution, FMCG or beverage warehousing

- Experience using Cin7 (DEAR) or a similar inventory management system

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Excellent organisation and attention to detail

- Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure

- Strong understanding of warehouse safety and stock control

- Ability to work hands-on and lead a team by example
