Part-Time Early Childhood Teacher- Bachelor in Early Childhood

Hastings Preschool is a proud not-for-profit community run service looking for a motivated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team.

About the role:

You would be the Early Childhood Teacher and shared Room Leader 2 days per week in our Preschool Room (3.5-5 year olds max of 20 children per day). You will have access to planning hours during this rostered time and education support. Competitive rates are available for the right candidate.

About You:

Essentials (the legal stuff)

- Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood

- A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework

- A sound understanding of the National Quality Framework





- Working knowledge of the Education & Care National Services Regulations

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Working with Children Check

- Current First Aid and CPR certificate

- NESA Accreditation

- Understanding of Contemporary Child Secure practices

- Completed Geccko Child Safe Training

- CHCPRT025 - Identify and report children and young people at risk OR

- CHCPRT001 - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
