Join an Established Flooring Hygiene Company

Healthy Building Systems Aust Pty Ltd (HBSA) has been a leader in Flooring Hygiene for over 30 years.

We are looking for an experienced Carpet & Vinyl Cleaning Technician to join our team on a part-time basis initially, with the opportunity to move into a full-time position following a successful 3-month probation period.

This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in their work, has experience with professional carpet and vinyl cleaning, and is looking for reliable ongoing work with an established company.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering high-quality carpet and vinyl cleaning and restoration services

- Operating skilled cleaning and restoration equipment

- Working across a variety of commercial sites

- Following established cleaning procedures and maintaining high-quality standards

- Completing job documentation and job closure paperwork

- Communicating professionally with clients, site contacts and the HBSA team

- Working collaboratively with other technicians

- Maintaining equipment and ensuring work areas are left clean and safe

- Occasional trips to Bunbury and surrounding areas required. (Shared trips between technicians) The successful applicant must be comfortable with occasional work away from the Perth metropolitan area.

- Confident using professional cleaning equipment

- Professional when dealing with clients and site representatives

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Calm and professional under pressure

- A good communicator

- Committed to delivering a high standard of workmanship

Mandatory Requirements

- Australian Permanent Residency

- Current WA Manual Driver’s Licence

- Previous employer references

- Current Police Clearance

- Experience in qualified carpet and/or vinyl cleaning

Experience That Will Be Highly Regarded

Experience in:

- Carpet cleaning and restoration

- Vinyl floor cleaning and restoration

- Stripping and sealing vinyl floors

- Commercial or institutional cleaning

- Professional floor cleaning equipment

- Aged care, healthcare, education or commercial environments
