You will lead an experienced site crew delivering modular, commercial and infrastructure projects across South East Queensland and regional locations. You will lead from the front, understand the work, keep the crew moving and take pride in safely completing projects.
Key responsibilities
- Leading and coordinating site crews
- Managing daily site activities
- Planning labour, equipment and work requirements
- Modular building installation and relocation
- Building placement, levelling, joining and finishing
- Decks, stairs, landings, awnings and access structures
- Coordinating crane lifts and building placement
- Site establishment and compound installation
- Reading drawings and understanding project scopes
- Coordinating subcontractors and other trades
About you
- Strong modular or construction industry experience
- Trade-qualified Carpenter or strong relevant construction background
- Previous Leading Hand, Crew Leader or supervisory experience
- Ability to confidently lead and motivate a crew
- Good understanding of modular installation
- Strong communication and organisation
- Practical problem-solving ability
- Strong focus on safety, quality and productivity
- Current driver's licence
- Construction White Card

We are expanding our permanent crews and fleet to support a diverse and ongoing project pipeline. Our focus is on providing good people with consistent, long-term employment rather than patchy project-to-project work. Queensland is entering a major period of construction and infrastructure investment leading toward the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Eastco is preparing early and building the workforce now to support the major project and infrastructure opportunities from 2027–2032.
