We're looking for a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Assistant to join our South Melbourne store on a casual basis, working weekday shifts that are available between Monday to Friday.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Retail Sales Assistant, you'll play an key role in creating a positive customer experience while helping the store run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming customers and delivering outstanding service
- Building product knowledge and helping customers find the right solution
- Processing sales and operating the point-of-sale system
- Answering customer enquiries via phone and email
- Preparing quotes and processing orders
- Maintaining store presentation and merchandising displays
- Receiving and replenishing stock deliveries
- Assisting with inventory and database updates
- Supporting day-to-day store operations

What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for customer service. You'll bring:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally retail
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence using POS systems or inventory management systems
- A proactive approach and willingness to take initiative
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Hospitality, kitchen equipment or technical product knowledge is advantageous but not essential
