Our Newcastle Depot is currently seeking a professional Linehaul Driver to contribute to our strong reputation for safety, reliability and operational excellence.

This is a live-in truck driving position that requires the successful candidate to stay in the truck while completing deliveries from Newcastle along the Southeast Coast.

The Roster & Renumeration

- Monday to Friday roster, with occasional Saturday work required in line with operational needs
- This position will include live-in linehaul duties, requiring overnight travel and periods away from home
- A fully equipped sleeper cab will be provided, and an overnight travel allowance will apply when you are working away from home
- All-inclusive rate of $49.23 per hour with the applicable allowances
- Meal allowance of $21.29 per applicable shift
- Overnight Travel allowance of $58.95 per applicable shift

Your Role

As an Linehaul Tanker Driver, you will be entrusted with critical responsibilities that ensure the protected and efficient transport of fuel. Your duties will include:

- Completing local fuel deliveries and interstate linehaul assignments as required
- Loading and unloading fuel tankers safely and efficiently
- Undertaking live-in interstate trips, including regular nights away from home
- Adhering to Monaro Fuel Haulage?s rigorous safety protocols and compliance standards
- Effectively managing fatigue and accurately maintaining work diaries and logbooks




- Meeting delivery timeframes while following operational instructions and legislative requirements
- Maintaining a professional standard of service when interacting with customers and depot personnel

What we are Looking For:

- Valid MC Drivers Licence with 2+ years of demonstrated driving experience
- Dangerous Goods License (essential)
- Road Ranger Gearbox Experience (preferred, but not essential)
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Full working rights in Australia
- Preparedness to undergo pre-employment medical and/or drug & alcohol testing
