About the Role

Warramunda Village is seeking compassionate and motivated Registered Nurses to join our dedicated clinical team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality, person-centred care within a supportive aged care environment.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the early identification of residents with at-risk clinical and behavioural issues through reviewing and assessing KPI’s, incident reports, progress notes, and correspondence. The role is also responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating resident-focused clinical care plans that support best practice outcomes and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor acute changes in resident’s wellbeing

- Identify high-risk residents and ensure care reflects best practice standards

- Report all clinical issues to the Clincial Care Co-Ordinator in a timely manner

- Provide supervision, development, and mentorship to Team Leaders

- Oversee clinical care in collaboration with Team Leaders, Enrolled Nurses, and Personal Care Workers





- Ensure accurate and timely documentation that meets regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the Aged Care Act, SIRS, WorkSafe, and AN-ACC

- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and relevant audits

- Follow emergency response procedures

Essential Requirements

- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Division 1 Nurse

- Bachelor of Nursing qualification

- Demonstrated experience in clinical assessments and care planning

- Strong problem-solving and clinical decision-making skills

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

- Ability to role model organisational values and positive workplace behaviours

- Sound understanding of AN-ACC, including reporting and charting requirements

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team workplace

Desirable

- Previous experience within a residential aged care setting
