Moffat is looking for a motivated, energetic and commercially minded Sales Representative to join our Bakery team in NSW.

This is an exciting opportunity for a baker who wants to take their industry knowledge into a customer-facing sales role, combining technical bakery expertise with the opportunity to develop new business, build relationships and drive revenue.

The Opportunity

This is a genuine sales and business development role with responsibility for growing Moffat's Bakery equipment business across NSW.

You'll be out in the market identifying opportunities, opening new doors, developing existing customers and working with national chains, distributors, retailers and wholesale bakery businesses.

You'll spend your time meeting customers, understanding their operations, identifying opportunities and presenting solutions that genuinely add value to their business.

The role is primarily on the road, covering the Sydney metropolitan area as well as regional NSW, with travel required to support customers and develop new opportunities.

What you'll be doing

- Drive sales and achieve agreed targets and budgets

- Proactively generate new business across bakery and foodservice

- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting and networking





- Develop relationships with bakery groups, retailers, wholesalers and national accounts

- Identify opportunities and convert leads into profitable sales

- Present and demonstrate Moffat bakery equipment and solutions

- Understand customer needs and recommend the right equipment

- Build long-term relationships with key customers

- Provide product demonstrations, training and practical technical advice

- Stay across market trends, customer needs and competitor activity

- Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline records

- Work closely with Moffat’s sales, product and service teams to maximise opportunities

About You

We're looking for someone who is commercially driven, confident and hungry to succeed.

You will ideally have:

- Qualified baker with hands-on commercial bakery experience

- Strong understanding of bakery operations, equipment and customer needs

- B2B sales, territory management or business development experience highly regarded

- Proven ability to build relationships, influence and negotiate with customers

- Confident presenting, demonstrating and selling products

- Proactive approach to generating new business and identifying sales opportunities

- Strong follow-up, persistence and commercial drive

- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

- Solid commercial awareness and understanding of bakery market trends

- Self-motivated, professional and customer-focused, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
