We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team on a full time basis at our Wangara depot.

About the Role

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week, with additional overtime available.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Servicing, repairs, and maintenance of heavy diesel vehicles and trailers

- Preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis

- Maintaining high workshop cleanliness and company standards

- Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship

- Identifying and reporting mechanical issues proactively

- Ensuring all servicing and maintenance records are completed accurately

- Adhering to company safety procedures and workshop standards

About You

To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess the following:





- Mechanical Trade Qualification – Diesel Mechanic

- Proven hands-on experience working with heavy diesel vehicles, particularly Isuzu trucks

- Strong understanding of truck servicing, repairs, and maintenance procedures

- Experience with preventative maintenance programs

- HR Driver’s Licence or higher

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work autonomously and in a fast-paced environment

- Effective communication and leadership skills

- Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement

- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

- Experience with Isuzu vehicles highly regarded
