Progroup Management
Sydney
Progroup Management Pty Ltd is an established Australian facilities maintenance, constuction and project services company that has been operating for 30 years. Over that time, Progroup has delivered maintenance, construction and project services for government and corporate clients across NSW.
We are continuing to grow our Facilities Maintenance business and are seeking an experienced and reliable Licensed Maintenance Plumber to join our team on a casual and flexible basis.
This role will primarily involve reactive and planned plumbing maintenance across our client portfolio, including local government facilities.
The role will be based from Progroup’s Trade Services office in Minchinbury, with work undertaken across client sites throughout Sydney.
The position would suit an experienced plumber looking for flexible work, with hours varying depending on client work orders and operational requirements. While full-time hours are not guaranteed initially, there is potential for the role to grow as Progroup’s facilities maintenance portfolio continues to expand.
About the role
You will be responsible for a broad range of plumbing maintenance works, including:
- Reactive plumbing repairs and fault finding
- General commercial plumbing maintenance
- Repairs to taps, toilets, cisterns, pipework and fixtures
- Blocked drains and minor drainage works
- Planned and preventative maintenance
- Attending client sites and completing work orders
- Identifying additional works where required
- Providing clear information on work completed, materials used and any follow-up requirements
- Maintaining a professional standard of presentation and customer service
The majority of the work will be maintenance rather than construction, so we are looking for someone comfortable working independently across multiple sites and dealing directly with clients and site representatives.
About you
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Current NSW plumbing licence or appropriate plumbing qualifications
- Strong experience in commercial, facilities or reactive maintenance plumbing
- Ability to diagnose faults and complete repairs independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and reliability
- Ability to complete job documentation accurately
- Current driver's licence
- Own hand tools
- A current NSW Qualified Supervisor Certificate and/or Contractor Licence covering plumbing and drainage would be highly regarded
Experience working in schools, councils, commercial buildings or facilities maintenance environments would be highly regarded.
What Progroup offers
- Flexible casual employment
- Competitive remuneration based on experience and qualifications
- Predominantly local Sydney work
- Established facilities maintenance client portfolio
- Support from our internal helpdesk and operations team
- Opportunity for increased hours as our maintenance portfolio grows
- Long-term prospect for the right person
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance plumber who values flexibility but would also like to develop an ongoing relationship with an established facilities maintenance business.
To apply, please submit your resume outlining your plumbing qualifications and relevant maintenance experience.
Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
