Accredited Exercise Physiologist – Mobile | Western & South-West Sydney
$40-60 Contract | Flexible Hours
About the role
Functional Rehabilitation is growing, and we're looking for an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) to join our team on a flexible contract basis.
This is a great opportunity for an EP who enjoys working one-on-one with clients and wants the flexibility and autonomy of mobile community-based work, while benefiting from an established referral network and existing caseload.
You will provide evidence-based exercise physiology and rehabilitation services to clients in their homes and local communities across Greater Western and South-West Sydney.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments and functional testing
- Develop and deliver individualised exercise programs
- Provide one-on-one exercise physiology and rehabilitation sessions
- Monitor client progress and appropriately modify programs
- Work with clients across NDIS, aged care, chronic disease, musculoskeletal, neurological and post-operative rehabilitation
- Provide education and support to clients and families/carers
- Complete clinical notes, reports and outcome measures
- Communicate with referrers and other allied health professionals
- Maintain high standards of clinical practice and client safety

About you
We're looking for an EP who is:
- ESSA Accredited or eligible for AEP accreditation
- Passionate about improving clients' function, independence and quality of life
- Confident working independently and making sound clinical decisions
- A strong communicator who can build rapport with a wide range of clients
- Reliable, organised and professional
- Comfortable working in clients' homes and community environments
Experience in NDIS, aged care, chronic disease, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, falls prevention or neurological rehabilitation is highly regarded.
New graduates with robust clinical skills and a genuine interest in community rehabilitation are also encouraged to apply.

- ESSA accreditation or eligibility
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Australian driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain
- Appropriate professional insurance
