What's the role?
This is a high-impact opportunity for a senior, commercially minded Senior Account Manager to join Medium Rare (a News Corp Australia–owned content and marketing agency) and play a pivotal role within CommBank Connect, Australia’s largest financial owned media network, which Medium Rare represents.
In this role, you will own and grow a portfolio of key agency and client relationships, driving sustainable revenue growth and positioning CommBank Connect as a strategic, long-term media partner.
Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, you will leverage data, insights, and measurement to deliver integrated, results-driven media solutions across CommBank Connect’s premium asset suite.
Responsibilities
- Patch Ownership & Revenue Drive: Manage and develop your own dedicated client and agency patch while collaborating closely with the wider team to drive overall revenue and growth for CommBank Connect.
- Proactive Account Acquisition: Map, identify, and systematically build direct connections with senior decision-makers across your patch to secure new business and open doors with target accounts.
- Proposal Lead & Strategic Response: Lead the end-to-end response to complex client briefs, collaborating with Strategy and Content teams to develop tailored, insight-led media strategies from pitch through to delivery.
- Revenue & Pipeline Accountability: Track, monitor, and communicate sales performance, using internal systems with discipline to manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and deliver against targets across digital, print, screen, and partnership assets.
- Market Education & Commercial Storytelling: Educate the market on CommBank Connect’s unique proposition, applying data, research, and campaign measurement to build compelling channel recommendations aligned to brand objectives.
- Flawless Campaign Delivery: Partner closely with operations and delivery teams to ensure seamless campaign execution, on-time delivery, and high-quality reporting for all contracted clients.
