Chef de Partie – Mount Erica Hotel

Mount Erica Hotel is looking for full-time skilled Chefs de Partie (CDP)'s to join our dedicated kitchen team. This is a high-energy, high-volume venue, and we need professional chefs who can keep up with the pace, uphold our standards, and thrive under pressure. If you have a passion for producing high-quality food in a well-structured and demanding environment, we want to hear from you.

We operate seven days a week for lunch and dinner, and our kitchen requires chefs who can handle busy services with skill, consistency, and professionalism.

The Role

As CDP at Mount Erica Hotel, you will:

- Maintain high standards – Execute food preparation and service with precision, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes.

- Run your section efficiently – Keep mise-en-place organised, manage stock, and maintain a clean workstation.





- Follow OH&S; and food safety standards – Adhere to all compliance and safety requirements.

- Work as part of a team – Collaborate with fellow chefs to deliver smooth and efficient services.

- Step up when required – Support senior chefs and take the lead when necessary.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience – Minimum 2 to 3 years in a similar role, with a proven ability to handle high-volume services.

- Qualifications – Ideally Certificate III-IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).

- Skill & Work Ethic – Strong cooking techniques, ability to perform under pressure, and commitment to excellence.

- Reliability & Professionalism – A chef who takes pride in their craft, values teamwork, and can consistently deliver at a high standard.

- Availability - Weekend and evening shifts will be an expectation of this role

Employment Conditions

This is a full-time role under the Publican.Co Enterprise Agreement 2023/2024.
