We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established Adelaide food manufacturer, offering daytime ordinary hours, an attractive salary and the potential for paid overtime.

We’re recruiting an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established Adelaide food manufacturer.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll work across a variety of production and packing machinery, including mincers, fillers, conveyors, pumps and packing equipment.

This is a hands-on role covering breakdowns, preventative maintenance, fault-finding and current plant installations. You’ll need to be confident working independently, diagnosing machinery faults and getting production safely back up and running.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Responding to machinery breakdowns and minimising downtime
- Electrical and PLC fault-finding
- Preventative maintenance and servicing
- Maintaining production and packing equipment
- Installing new plant and machinery
- Working with motors, pumps, conveyors, pneumatics and hydraulics
- Practical repairs and fabrication where required
- Maintaining strong safety and housekeeping standards

About You





You’re an experienced industrial Maintenance Electrician who is practical, reliable and confident working in a live production environment.
You’ll ideally have:

- Current South Australian A-Class Electrical Licence
- Hands-on industrial machinery maintenance experience
- Strong breakdown and fault-finding skills
- PLC fault-finding experience
- Experience with motors, conveyors, pumps, pneumatics and hydraulics
- FMCG, food, beverage, packaging or manufacturing experience highly regarded
- Current driver’s licence
- Forklift licence highly regarded
- National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to meet Q Fever vaccination requirements
