About the Position

The Community Facilities team at Bayswater Waves are seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join the team as a casual Customer Service Officer.

In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders, including residents, ratepayers, and members of the general public. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality customer service and administrative support across our Bayswater Waves facility.

We're seeking individuals who are energetic, personable, and genuinely passionate about supporting our community. Your friendly approach and commitment to excellent service will help create a welcoming experience for all facility users.

We are currently hiring for the upcoming summer season, with the potential for ongoing regular shifts beyond the seasonal period.

This recruitment pool functions as an expression of interest only for casual Customer Service Officers.

About You

You will have strong attention to detail, be able to work autonomously to complete set tasks, however also be an integral team member when it comes to problem solving and achieving successful outcomes.

- Provide a high level of customer service consistent with the City's Customer Service Charter.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in processing financial transactions.
- Complete relevant administration tasks with a high level of accuracy, efficiency and service.
- Maintain safe, hygienic, well presented and readily accessible facilities.
- Respond to incidents and emergency situations within site procedures, training and capacity.
- Exercise duty of care and work in a safe and efficient manner, having regard for your own safety and that of other workers and the general public.
- Work effectively in a team environment and assist others to achieve service unit goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and operations.
- Under the direction of the Senior Customer Service Officer review and report on front desk customer service standards, providing recommendations for improving both customer service and service efficiencies.
