- Permanent / Full Time
- Salary: $114,166 - $125,251 gross p.a. plus 12% Super (Base salary range includes the potential for an Attraction and Retention Allowance of up to $200 per week. Eligibility is subject to assessment and applies only where the preferred candidate exceeds the requirements of the role.)
- 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with the option of flexitime

About the Role
As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in bridging business requirements and technology solutions. You will be responsible for designing and delivering fit-for-purpose solutions that support organisational objectives while aligning with enterprise architecture standards, strategic direction, and best practices. This includes:
- Work with internal stakeholders to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of systems and solutions, ensuring business requirements, risk, dependencies, security, data and integration considerations are understood and addressed
- Review proposed technology solutions and projects to ensure compliance with Council's enterprise architecture principles, cyber security requirements, information governance obligations and strategic technology roadmap.
- Maintain expertise in solution architecture, technology trends, integration patters, cyber security and industry standards providing technical leadership and guidance.

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline and/or relevant industry experience.
- Current Class C Driver's License
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide advice and effectively prepare and present complex information in a straightforward way.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong planning organisational and prioritisation skills, with proven ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines.
We are seeking a collaborative and solutions-focused professional who can translate business needs into practical technology solutions. You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
Council requires applicants for this position to undergo a National Criminal History Check during the recruitment process. This check will be at the expense of Council.
