About the role

As part of our recent expansion from a state based to a national business model, a new exciting position has been created. We are looking for an experienced Business Support Manager to join our team and play a key role in keeping the business running smoothly.

This is a varied role that combines customer service leadership, business support, reporting and analysis, systems management and process improvement. You will lead our small Customer Service team while also working closely with the Head of Sales and Head of Operations to provide the information, systems and support needed to keep the wider business performing at its best.

What you'll be doing

- Manage and support our small Customer Service team, including day-to-day supervision, coaching and performance management.

- Ensure our customers and clients receive a consistently high level of service.

- Act as an escalation point for customer service issues and work through solutions professionally and efficiently.

- Prepare regular sales, customer and business reporting to support decision-making.

- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.

- Analyse data and identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.

- Provide practical insights to support the Sales and Operations teams.

- Oversee the administration and accuracy of our CRM system,



Inzant.

- Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement practical solutions.

- Develop and maintain processes and procedures across the business.

- Support the Head of Operations with continuous improvement initiatives.

- Assist with general Customer service duties such as sales collateral, processing of orders and general database maintenance

About you

We're looking for someone who is organised, capable and proactive, with the confidence to take ownership of their role and make things happen.

You'll ideally have:

- Experience leading and developing a small team.

- Strong customer service experience and a genuine focus on delivering a great customer experience.

- Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with data and reporting.

- Experience with Power BI or a similar reporting platform is desired but not required

- Experience working with a CRM system would be highly regarded.

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

- The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- A practical, solutions-focused approach and a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.

- The ability to build strong relationships across a team that includes people working remotely around Australia.

A business, administration or related qualification would be advantageous, but experience and attitude are more important to us.
