About the Role

We're looking for an experienced, passionate and flexible individual to join our team as our next Venue Coordinator based at Gold Netball Centre in Jolimont. You will play a key part in the daily operations, activities and upkeep of the Gold Netball Centre!

Key Responsibilities

- Undertake regular venue and equipment inspections, complete internal maintenance, cleaning, and waste management as required and identify and report on contractor required maintenance or upgrades needed to maintain the building to a high standard
- Assist the Venue Manager with external reporting on contractor required maintenance and upgrades and coordination of contractors on site, including regular cleaning contractors
- Support the planning and delivery of events at the GNC, including coordinating venue requirements, assisting with event setup and logistics, liaising with internal stakeholders and hirers, and helping ensure events are delivered smoothly and professionally
- Open and close the venue when required and prepare the venue before and after use including setup and pack down of equipment, cleaning courts and floors and the planning and inspection of post event cleans
- Answer customer enquiries, take bookings and payments,



and undertake reception and other customer service duties for NWA and WCF merchandise as required
- Coordinate kiosk operations, including ordering and maintaining stock, managing inventory updates in the point-of-sale system and supporting service of alcohol requirements when required
- Assist with the coordination of casual staff, volunteers and contractors of the facility, including rostering of casual staff, and induction and training as required
- Assist the Management Accountant in the management of all NWA fleet owned cars
- Undertake building maintenance and general cleaning requirements for the NWA office space as required

What You’ll Bring

- Experience in a similar role or industry such as venue operations, facilities coordination, commercial maintenance or cleaning, sports events coordination or other sports industry roles (Essential)
- Experience using booking or event software, facilities management software, rostering systems, billing systems or similar products (Essential)
- Experience in the sport/not-for-profit industry would be highly regarded
- Approved Manager and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate or willingness to obtain one (Essential)
- First Aid Certificate (including defibrillator use) or willingness to obtain one (Essential)
- WA Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Essential)
- Ability to work flexibly with rostered hours across weekdays, weekends and evenings (Essential)




- Practical understanding of WHS practices including manual handling and moving equipment safely
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Solid relationship building and stakeholder engagement experience
- Demonstrated alignment with NWA values and a commitment to service excellence
