We are seeking an experienced Network Support Engineer to join a leading telecommunications technology organisation supporting critical network infrastructure and services across Australia.
This is a hands-on technical role where you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, supporting and optimising complex IP and transport networks for enterprise, carrier and service provider customers.

Key Responsibilities
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for critical network environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across MPLS, BGP, VRF, Ethernet and Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies.
Design, configure and deploy IP/MPLS network solutions.
Support network provisioning, commissioning and service activation activities.
Configure and maintain routers, switches and firewalls.
Work closely with NOC teams, field engineers and customers to resolve incidents and outages.
Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams and technical records.
Monitor and improve network performance, reliability and availability.




Develop automation and scripting solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Participate in customer meetings, technical reviews and solution discussions.

About You
5+ years' experience in a Network Engineer, Network Support Engineer or Telecommunications Engineering role.
Solid knowledge of IP Networking, Routing & Switching, MPLS, BGP and Carrier Networks.
Experience working within ISP, Telecommunications, Carrier or Managed Services environments.
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Nokia, Juniper and/or HPE networking technologies.
Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Comfortable working independently and within collaborative technical teams.
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIP or Nokia certifications are highly regarded.Work with leading telecommunications and networking technologies
