Job Name: Residential insulation installers / technicians (Southern Tasmania)

Job Format: Flexible schedule, nominally working 7.30am to 4.00pm, start ASAP, working in a two- or three-person team. Some travel and overnight stays may be required.

Suitable for: Experienced insulation installers with prior residential retrofit insulation experience.

Employment/Contracting: Casual employment with a view to part time / full time, OR sub-contracting ABN arrangement - both options are available depending on your situation.

Reporting to: HEG Hobart Area Manager

Location: No fixed base - majority of the work day spent onsite at different customer residences in Southern Tasmania and picking up stock from supplier depot. Some travel throughout the state may be required from time to time.

Remuneration Package: Per SQM rate OR Base hourly award rate plus superannuation and bonuses, whichever is highest. For casual or part time staff, a work vehicle can be provided for business hours use, so a valid C-class license is required. Accommodation for regional work is provided and a living-away-from-home allowance is paid.

Position Description: Classroom and on-the-job training is provided,



and ongoing support is available by our experienced, long-term, internal team members. HEG is a dynamic, enthusiastic and competitive company in a rapid growth phase, and we consider our installation teams to be skilled service technicians. .

Mandatory requirements:

Manual Drivers License, C-class. Fully valid and operational for immediate use. Be able to ensure a professionally-executed, customer-focused outcome in conjunction with the team leader and team mates. Available for short term commencement. Experience in the construction industry (formal qualifications, apprenticeship, or equivalent trade experience) is desirable. The position involves ladder, ceiling cavity and some roof work. Expertise with standard power tools is a big help. A friendly disposition and a great attitude is a must. White Card and Working with Vulnerable People Card required.

Pay: $32.00 – $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
