About the Role

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide high-quality support to a participant located around Arthur Street, Worrigee NSW 2540.

The successful candidate will assist the participant with their day-to-day needs while promoting independence, dignity, choice, and community participation.

Key Responsibilities
Providing person-centred support based on the participant's individual needs and goals
Assisting with daily living activities and personal care where required
Supporting community access, appointments, shopping, and recreational activities
Providing companionship and encouraging social participation
Following the participant's support plan and organisational policies
Completing accurate shift notes and required documentation
Maintaining a protected, respectful, and supportive environment
Communicating professionally with the participant, family, and support team

Essential Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check, if applicable
First Aid & CPR certification
Previous disability support experience preferred
Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle preferred
Relevant qualifications such as Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent are highly regarded
