About the role

This full time role, based in Ballarat, supports the manufacture of a broad range of products for the Australian and international valve market. This position requires a fully qualified Fitter & Turner who has experience with lathes and milling machines. Exposure to NC lathe, vertical, and horizontal borers would also be advantageous but not essential. The ideal candidate will shadow the lead Senior Fitter & Turner, learning the skills required to eventually take over the role as the lead Senior Fitter & Turner.

Key responsibilities
Manufacture of valve products using lathes and milling machines
Work with NC lathe, vertical, and horizontal borers
Shadow and learn from the lead Senior Fitter & Turner
Contribute to production for the Australian and international valve market

About you
Fully qualified Fitter & Turner
Experience working in a similar role/environment
Experience with lathes and milling machines




Physically fit and active to meet the demands of the role
Robust work ethic
Ability to maintain a skilled approach at all times
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team
Demonstrated acceptance and understanding of cultural diversity
