About the role

Power Kinnect is seeking Electricians willing to be trained to become a Cable Jointer and / or qualified Cable Jointers for work predominantly around Port Macquarie, Forster and Taree. The successful candidate/s will be based out of our Wauchope depot.

Key responsibilities
Installation and jointing of paper lead and/or XLPE cables up to 11kV
Installation and commissioning of URD
Trenching and cabling
Work in a rapid paced and changing workplace
Work flexible schedule to meet the requirements of the position
Be prepared to work away when required

About you
NSW Electrical Licence
Cert III in ESI - Distribution or Cert III Cable Jointer
Experience working within a similar environment eg. Essential Energy, Ausgrid
Possess a high level knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to OH&S; principles and practices
Sound oral, written communication and numeracy skills
Sound computer literacy skills
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
MR licence would be an advantage




Excavator ticket or experience would be an advantage
