TESS Search Partners is partnering with CME Group to appoint an HSEQ Advisor to support safety, quality and compliance across its electrical projects and field operations. This is an chance for an electrically qualified professional with site experience to move into an HSEQ-focused position within one of South Australia’s respected electrical contractors. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the role will spend significant time across project sites, working closely with supervisors, electricians, project managers and subcontractors to ensure safe work practices and HSEQ requirements are consistently maintained.

As HSEQ Advisor, you will take a practical, site-focused approach to safety, regularly visiting projects to review work practices, SWMS and controls, conduct inspections and hazard identification, and support incident reporting and investigations. The role will also assist with audits, compliance records, return-to-work requirements and the ongoing implementation of CME’s Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.





We’re seeking someone with around one year or more of relevant experience, ideally with a strong electrical background and an electrical licence, who is looking to develop their career within HSEQ. Practical knowledge of electrical work and site environments will be particularly valuable, together with an interest in safety, compliance and continuous improvement. You will be comfortable engaging with field teams, identifying risks and providing practical guidance to ensure work is completed safely and in line with project and business requirements.
